United has recently been linked with the on-form Republic of Ireland full-back. Coleman has been in fine form this season, contributing 5 goals in just 23 games in the premier league – 1 more than in-form Chelsea striker, Fernando Torres. Rafael is the current first choice right-back although injuries often see Chris Smalling or Phil Jones take the reigns in his absence. The question also remains – is he ‘a United player?’ He has had some excellent games for United over the years but often sees red or makes costly rash decisions. Either way, Coleman would be an excellent addition to Moyes’ struggling squad.
